Best version of self, is an brain waves-based VR installation that connects focus level to real-time 3D generated environmental and financial trading systems. Using brainwave input from UNICORN BCI CORE-8, the work alters the speed of a virtual sunrise-sunset cycle in a VR headset and animate candlestick charts in Unity using real time live data from Binance. Focused attention keeps VR time aligned with real time and holds financial positions, while distraction accelerates time and triggers trades. Best version of self turns attention into currency. It blurs boundaries between artwork viewer and trading interface, presence and performance, proposing a speculative approach to contemporary “value” generation.
