The mobile phone has evolved into a personal, unique, and indispensable object in everyone's daily life. It has become another "home" we inhabit. I dismantle the components of my mobile phones sourced from Taichung, Taiwan, and other electronic devices. After deconstructing these parts to create molds, I transform them into transparent "replicas" using epoxy resin. These replicas are then assembled into the semblance of my "home," incorporating the buildings and streets of Taichung, the city where I spent my formative years.
Subsequently, I crafted a code that orchestrates the luminous source within this installation to pulsate at a rhythm of 22.5 seconds per minute. This specific tempo corresponds to my average screen time of 9 hours per day, providing a tangible representation of my daily engagement with digital devices.
